Rebecca Wallis is contracted as the WA State Coordinator for the MLA Profitable Grazing Systems Program.
Profitable Grazing Systems is a group based delivery program, which drives improved business performance outcomes for participating red meat producers with measurable impacts. The program takes a whole-of-farm business approach to improve business performance and key profit drivers. It enables industry best practice and new research findings to be customised to local environments and farming systems, keeping you ahead of the game. There is a strong focus on understanding the financial implications of making decisions.
Profitable Grazing Systems will develop producer’s skills and confidence, and with the support of a peer network and industry expert coach, implement these skills into your business to have the greatest impact on productivity and profitability. There is a strong focus on understanding the financial implications of decisions. Producers will drive their own business improvement.
The program’s vision is to increase producer skills and capability, practice change and whole farm business improvement through increasing producer understanding of:
Business profit = management capability + evidence + value chain approach
